About Marc Egort, CPA
Marc began his career over 30 years ago in a South Florida-based home health care agency where he worked as a finance and reimbursement manager. That experience led him to work for a boutique CPA firm that provided services to the home health care industry, where he practiced for 8 years and became an industry leader in Medicare home health reimbursement, cost finding, and cost reporting. In 1999 he opened his own CPA firm. Today, Marc Egort, CPA, PA serves clients in a variety of industries nationwide and continues to grow.
Marc received his Bachelor of Science in Management from The Georgia Institute of Technology and has a Masters Degree in Accounting from Nova University. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Marc has been playing drums for over 40 years and performs regularly with a local cover band. He is a practitioner of the martial arts with 35 years of training in Chung Do Kwon, Tae Kwon Do, Krav Maga & Kali. He lives in Ft. Lauderdale Florida with his wife and their son.
